MAP is a strictly enforced agreement between the manufacturer and authorized dealers. It sets a "floor" on the lowest price a dealer is allowed to show online or in print.
Why you won’t find a lower price:
If you find a "new" exact brand item or brand significantly below the prices listed on our site, it is a red flag. Unauthorized sellers often:
- Void Your Warranty: Manufacturers typically only honor warranties for products purchased through authorized dealers at MAP-compliant pricing.
- Sell "B-Stock" or Returns: Deeply discounted units are often refurbished or older, discontinued models.
- Lack Support: They rarely have the technical expertise to assist with the complex gas or electrical specifications required for high-end installs.
